Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
This policy explains how Meridian Interface Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Adnetic (“we”, “us”), collects and uses personal data when you use www.adnetic.net. We are the controller of that data under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Payment details: your plan, payments, invoices and billing address. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- What you put in: scripts, product links and descriptions, pictures you upload (such as product photos or photos used to make an actor), project names and settings. If you upload a photo of a person, you must have their explicit consent (see our terms); that photo is personal data we process for you.
- What you make: the videos, voices, images and music generated for you.
- Usage: the actions you take and the credits they cost, error logs, and basic technical data such as browser type. We use this to run and bill the Service and fix problems.
- Messages: what you send through our contact form (name, email, company and message). To stop abuse we keep a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, not the address itself.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To provide the Service you signed up for: your account, making your videos, billing and support (performance of a contract).
- To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate reports of misuse (which may mean reviewing the content involved), enforce our terms, and improve the Service (our legitimate interests).
- To keep financial and tax records (legal obligation).
- To reply when you contact us (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run Adnetic. They process data on our instructions:
- Clerk: sign-in and account security.
- Stripe: payments, subscriptions and invoices.
- Vercel: hosting, plus privacy-friendly analytics and performance measurement that do not use cookies.
- Supabase: our database (hosted in the EU).
- fal.ai: generating the videos, voices and images for your ads. Your scripts and pictures are sent to fal.ai and the AI model providers it runs.
- DeepSeek: writing and translating scripts when you ask us to. DeepSeek may process this text in China.
- Resend: delivering contact form messages to our team.
We may also share data if the law requires it, or with a buyer if the business is sold, under the same protections.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, countries outside the UK, including the United States and China. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Your account, content and videos: while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete them within 30 days, apart from what we must keep.
- Payment and invoice records: six years, as UK tax law requires.
- Contact form messages: up to two years after our last reply.
- Logs: up to 12 months.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and secure (set by Clerk) and to process payments (set by Stripe on its checkout pages). Our analytics do not use cookies. The site may remember your light or dark preference in your browser’s storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy to take elsewhere. To use any of these rights, send us a message through our contact form. We reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
Adnetic is for adults and businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
We may update this policy. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app.
